Monarda or Bee Balm is depicted in this painting! It is one of the first Plant Allies that I ever connected with
in my studies, and it still stands out as one of the most important. 
This painting needed to be equal to the gifts this plant has given me.
 
As a deep lung tonic ally, Monarda is indicated for respiratory healing. 
 
In an energetic and spiritual sense, Monarda is one of the most 
intensely joyful plant spirits I've ever come in contact with. 
It's a community plant, and loves to party in large stands. 
Monarda encourages us to find joy in breath. To celebrate life 
and to find true community in sharing our deepest selves with the world.
